Contractors to picket Wexford hotel in row over wages

A group of sub-contractors and suppliers are planning to place pickets outside a hotel in Wexford today as part of a dispute over unpaid wages.

The protestors say they are owed more than €3m in wages for work carried out on the development White's Hotel.

Building work on the four-star complex finished in August 2006, but contractors claim they have only been paid one-third of the money they are owed.

The hotel is refusing to comment on the dispute.
