Cocaine seizure worth €8,000 sees one man charged

A man is to appear before Dublin District Court next month in connection with a drugs seizure over the weekend.

Gardaí seized cocaine, with an estimated street value of around €8,000, following a planned search at a house on the Clonard Road in Crumlin at around 2pm on Saturday.

The raid involved members of the Divisional Drugs Unit and local Gardaí.

One man was arrested by gardaí under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act. He has since been charged, and is due to appear at Dublin District Court on December 19.
