Clonmel court charges man in connection with Rossiter murder

A 29-year-old man has appeared before Clonmel District Court, charged in connection with the murder of Shane Rossiter.

Maurice Power, with an address at Dranganbeg, Kilmoyler in Cahir, Co Tipperary was remanded on bail to appear before Cashel District Court on Wednesday.

Thirty-year-old Shane Rossiter from Clonmel was shot dead in October at a house in the village of Golden in Co. Tipperary.

Ten people, aged from their early 20s to early 40s, were arrested last week in connection with his murder.

Two other men are still being questioned while all others have since been released without charge.
