Clare councillors likely to reject blueprint for midwest

Clare County Councillors look set to reject a 12-year blueprint for the development of the midwest.

The council said the Midwest Regional Guidelines draft would appear to seek to control the area's population to an unacceptable degree.

The public has until March 1 to make submissions on the 93-page draft.
