A 41-year-old man is due in court this morning after a cement mixer was left in front of the gates of Leinster House yesterday.
The words "Toxic Bank Anglo" were written in large red letters on the barrel of the truck.
The truck was driven up Kildare Street and left outside the entrance of Leinster House at 7.15am yesterday morning.
Bearing slogans such as "One million euros on golf balls" and "half a million for golf", the protest marked the return of the Dáil and Seanad after the summer recess.
Following the incident, gardaí in Pearse Street arrested a man for questioning.
He has been held overnight and will be formally charged in Dublin District Court this morning.
