Callely recieves 20-day suspension from Seanad

Senator Ivor Callely has been suspended from the Seanad for 20 sitting days, without pay.

The committee investigating his expenses found tonight, that he intentionally misrepresented his normal place of residence when he claimed over €80,000 in expenses from an address in Cork.

The committee said the breach was of a 'grave and serious nature'.
