Representatives from 30 of Ireland's leading business organisations will gather today to call for a Yes vote in the forthcoming Lisbon Treaty referendum.
The Business Alliance is the initiative of the Irish Alliance for Europe, which is the non-party organisation campaigning in favour of the treaty.
The group says a Yes vote will eliminate red tape, and will boost Ireland's economy.
Director of the Alliance for Europe Brendan Kiely says the organisation aims to educate people about the benefits of the Lisbon Treaty.
