The Cabinet is set to discuss the upcoming referendum on the EU Fiscal Treaty at a meeting this morning.
No date for the vote has been set, although it has been reported that the Taoiseach favours late May.
Speaking on his way into this morning's meeting, Education Minister Ruairi Quinn said that the Cabinet is still getting advice on the matter.
"Well, there'll be a general Tuesday Cabinet meeting," he said.
"There's over 30 items on the agenda so we'll be going through quite a number of items.
"We're still discussing the exact date and we’re still getting advice from different people. No decision has been made yet."
