Byrne killing investigation 'progressing well'

Gardaí say the investigation into the murder of Stephen Byrne in Dublin's north inner city is "progressing well".

A man in his 20s and a 15-year-old boy are continuing to be questioned in connection with the killing of the 32-year-old on Sheriff Street yesterday evening.

Gardaí say the victim was shot as he spoke to friends just before 5pm yesterday evening.
