Entrepreneur Norah Casey has urged the Government to follow the example of Utah in the United States if it wants to tackle its homelessness crisis.

She said that we need to replicate what the US state of Utah did to eradicate the problem.
Over 1,500 children are now in need of a home across the country and charities claim the crisis is growing by the day.
Focus Ireland's Shine a Light campaign last night raised over €350,000.
But Norah Casey says the Government should trust the business community to solve the issue:
"Give us the budget - we would eradicate homelessness by next year," she said.
"Utah, in the USA, this summer eradicated homelessness. They've said: 'An end to emergency accommodation, that's not the solution.
