Burton makes statement to gardaí about protest

The Tánaiste Joan Burton has made a statement to gardaí following last weekend's protest in Dublin.

She met detectives for up to an hour in her office in Leinster House, at their request.

The Minister for Social Protection was trapped in her car for over two hours, while a water balloon was also hurled at her.
