Both sides in bus cost-cutting row to meet at WRC

Bus Éireann management and unions are due to meet at the Workplace Relations Commission this afternoon.

A strike by workers is planned to begin next Monday - with unions opposed to the company's cost-cutting plan.

The WRC invited both sides in to see if there is room for a resolution.

Bus Éireann claims the cuts are needed to save the company from insolvency.
