Blazing truck blocks M1 Belfast road; one lane reopened

One lane of the M1 southbound has been reopened after a truck fire blocked the motorway this morning.

Emergency services are on the scene and Gardaí are advising motorists to use an alternative route.

The M1 Belfast road was blocked just north of the border because of the blaze.

All lanes were closed between Jonesborough and Ravensdale, but a southbound lane at junction 20 for Jonesborough has reopened.
