Armed robber threatens staff before escaping with cash in Dublin

Gardaí are investigating an armed robbery in Dublin this afternoon.

It happened at a premises in Chapelizod at around 2.30pm when a man entered with what appeared to be a firearm.

He threatened staff and made off with an unknown sum of cash.

No arrests have been made and Gardaí are appealing for any witnesses to contact them.
