AOL announces 20 new jobs for Dublin

Web services company AOL Global Operations Limited have announced 20 new software engineering jobs at its Dublin Development Centre with immediate effect.

The 20 new jobs are in addition to the 50 software engineering jobs AOL announced in June of this year.

The majority of the new jobs are with AOL’s Media Technology division and will focus on developing AOL’s global media channels which includes over 80 individual brands.

AOL has been based in Dublin for the past 10 years and currently employs 133 people.

Dublin is its development engine for Europe and works alongside its sister Development Centres in San Francisco, Dulles, New York, Bangalore and Frankfurt.

The company announced in June that it plans to move to a new headquarters in Dublin City Centre.
