Aer Lingus takeover 'bad news for consumers': Virgin Atlantic

The airline set up by Richard Branson claims the proposed takeover of Aer Lingus would have an adverse effect on ticket prices, connectivity and quality of service.

Virgin Atlantic says Irish consumers would lose out if the sale goes ahead to IAG.

The Irish Independent reports that Virgin has expressed concerns to the European Commission about the impact on competition, if the sale goes ahead.
