Advice for anyone travelling to the National Ploughing Championships

The Gardaí have outlined seven routes to the National Ploughing Championships in Tullamore this year which they hope will alleviate any traffic problems.

P.J. Lynam, Chairman of the National Ploughing Championships has advised people to turn off sat navs and follow the plans put in place by the Gardaí that can be found online at www.gardaí.ie

Mr Lynam has been Chairman of the National Ploughing Championships for the past three years and says this year there are 1600 different stalls over 183 acres.
