The Abortion Rights Campaign will meet in Dublin today to discuss the results of a recent Red C Poll carried out by Amnesty International.
The poll revealed that 81% of the population would like to see broader access to abortion services in Ireland.
The results comes as the fourth annual March for Choice is expected to place in Dublin on Saturday.
Spokesperson for the Abortion Rights Campaign, Cathleen Doherty, says that Ireland's Constitution needs to move with the times.
She said: "Ireland is a very sectarian country whenever the 8th Amendment is introduced and we've moved a very long way since then, our Constitution needs to move with us.
"Women are choosing abortion when they can and when thery can't do it by travelling they are breaking the law, they are risking this 14-year sentence.
"The really scary thing is that the 14-year sentence, this was introduced in 2013."
