90% of Union of Students in Ireland members back same-sex marriage

The USI has said it expects a high voter turn-out from students and young people in May's same-sex marriage referendum.

The Union of Students in Ireland has said 90% of their members are in favour of same-sex couples being able to get married here.

The union is this morning launching its campaign for a ‘Yes’ vote in the upcoming referendum on the issue.
