50-year-old woman arrested following cannabis seizure in Dublin

A 50-year-old woman has been arrested following a cannabis seizure in Lucan, County Dublin.

Investigations are continuing after Gardaí and Revenue found 5kg of the drug with an estimated street value of €100,000.

The woman is being detained under section 2 of the Criminal Justice Act.

The find was part of an intelligence-led operation involving Revenue's Customs Service, the Garda National Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau, and the Ronanstown Divisional Drugs Unit.
