You’ll never guess what Hozier asked for backstage at Jimmy Fallon

He might be one of the world’s most sought after musicians at the moment, but turns out Andrew Hozier-Byrne never fails to forget his roots.

Last night, the Wicklow native appeared on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, and not only did he perform his single ‘Jackie and Wilson’, he hijacked the show’s Instagram account to show us all the ‘going ons’ behind the scenes.

Hey @hozier here. I'll be taking over the Tonight Show account for the day. Stay tuned for potential silliness. #FallonTonight

Firstly, he gave us an insight into how he sets the mood before a show.

Then, he went on to show the world his very special rider - Barry’s tea, Dairy Milk chocolate and a few bags of Taytos.

“Behold. The fuel of my kinsmen fills the @hozier band-room,” he captioned the post.

Well, you can take the man out of Bray …

And lastly, he made the decision to show off his banjo skills to the world.

Is there anything this man can’t do?

A banjo, Barry's tea and a few bags of Taytos? Sounds like the recipe to a perfect sessuin to us.
