Wogan: BBC's top earners could take 15% pay cut

Veteran broadcaster Terry Wogan has hit out at excessive salaries at the BBC, saying top earners could afford to take a 15% pay cut.

His comments follow a call from the chairman of the BBC Trust to publicly release the names of those earning the highest wages.

Wogan said the good old days have passed, and salaries are far too high.
