Wiz Khalifa sampled the Stranger Things theme tune on his new track

Wiz Khalifa is clearly just as engrossed with Netflix sci-fi series Stranger Things as the rest of us, because he’s sampled the theme tune on a new track named after the show.

With a feature from J.R. Donato the beat samples Kyle Dixon and Michael Stein’s ominous score, resulting in something that sounds not too dissimilar from the beats Wiz made his name on, on his prolific early mixtapes.

It’s just the latest showing of the hip hop world’s love for the Winona Ryder-starring series, which will start filming for the second season in October, after 2 Chainz was spotted wearing a hoodie emblazoned with Eleven’s face.

Millie Bobby Brown, for her part, had previously rapped Nicki Minaj’s verse from Monster perfectly.

The second season is expected to drop in 2017, but for now you’ll just have to make do with Wiz’s sample.
