Winehouse's dad Mitch to appear on 'I'm A Celebrity…'

Amy Winehouse’s father is set to appear on ‘I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!’

Mitch Winehouse is said to be thrilled at the prospect of appearing on the ITV reality show - which sees a group of stars living in the Australian jungle for several weeks – and is currently negotiating with show bosses.

A source told Britain’s Daily Star: “Mitch had an interview with ITV and he would absolutely love to go on the show. He thinks it would be a great challenge and a lot of fun.”

ITV sources have admitted he would be a “fantastic addition” to the show.

Mitch is also set to release his own album in the coming weeks and thinks starring on the programme could help boost his profile.

He will go ahead with the plan if his work schedule fits around filming, and as long as ‘Back To Black’ singer Amy is happy with the decision.

Other stars rumoured to be taking part in 'I'm A Celebrity...' include cricketer Freddie Flintoff, former boyband singer Brian McFadden, actor Brian Blessed, siblings of Michael Jackson Tito and LaToya, glamour models Samantha Fox and Nicola T and snooker player Jimmy White.
