An NBA star has been spotted on camera taking a swig of a fan's beverage in the middle of a televised basketball game.

NBA star Mike Scott, who plays for the Philadelphia 76ers, tumbled off the court and into the crowd as he chased the basketball to keep it in play for his teammates.

The Milwaukee Bucks had just scored a basket when Scott then noticed the woman to his right had a drink in hand, and helped himself to it, before racing back on to court.

The game is currently at half time, with the Milwaukee Bucks trailing the Philadelphia 76ers 53-62 at the Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA.
