WATCH: Miss Piggy joins Tinder during awkward interview with Kermit

As much as we like to deny it, the truth is Kermit the Frog and Miss Piggy have officially parted ways.

The duo had been together for 30 years and "after careful thought, thoughtful consideration and considerable squabbling” they decided to end their romantic relationship in August of this year.

Due to contractual commitments in the lead-up to their new show ‘The Muppets’ on ABC, the pair paid a visit to Jimmy Kimmel Live on Monday, marking their first interview and public appearance since the split.

Needless to say, it was slightly awkward - especially when Jimmy quizzed Kermit about his new ‘BAE’ Denise, a marketing executive with ABC and made a Tinder profile for Miss Piggy.

Turns out, she’s loving it - get swiping guys!
