Watch Chance the Rapper in the trailer for Slice, his first film role

We might soon be calling him Chance the Actor, if this short clip shared by Chance the Rapper is anything to go by.

The clip from upcoming film Slice sees Chance perched on a motorcycle before the Chicago man places a helmet on his head and speeds off, revealing very little about the film or his character.

But back in 2015 director Austin Vesely, responsible for a number of Chance’s videos including No Problem, said the movie will be a murder mystery, with Chance playing a werewolf.

His character, a former delivery driver, gets caught in the middle of a number of murders in a “supernatural” alternate universe. Most excitingly though, given Chance’s infectious personality, Austin also shared that the role has been tailored to suit the rapper’s own humour.

Austin is a close friend of Chance and his crew, and while we wait for the film’s 2017 release you can found out more about him here.
