2FM DJ Jenny Greene & The RTÉ Concert Orchestra have teamed up to play Electric Picnic this year, and preparations are well underway for Friday night’s gig.

Live in the Rankins Wood tent, 2FM at The Picnic will combine the dance forces of Jenny Greene and the RTÉ Concert Orchestra -bringing you the most incredible mix of 90s dance classics like you’ve never heard them before.

The set, which has been described as nothing we’ve ever seen before at an Irish festival, is sure to have taken plenty of time to perfect – and now, 2FM have released a high-speed clip of the rehearsals in action, take a look:

Hear your favourite old school anthems like Tiesto’s ‘Adagio for Strings’, ‘Insomnia’ by Faithless, ‘Not Over Yet’ by Grace and Orbital’s ‘Belfast’, with 2FM’s Jenny Greene on the decks, the power of RTÉ’s 48 piece orchestra – plus support from DJs Mo K and Dave Treacy.

Jenny and the RTÉ Orchestra will play Live at Rankins Wood on Friday night at 9pm, with the entire show set to be broadcast live on 2FM.
