Tommy Tiernan had the best reaction to finding out his TV show is coming back

Ireland's favourite comedian, Tommy Tiernan, stopped by the Ray D'Arcy show for a chat this afternoon.

Tommy spoke about his time as host of the Tommy Tiernan show saying he absolutely loves presenting it but finds it very stressful.

When he was asked if it had been renewed for another season the funny-man said he didn't know.

"You're in the building there, why don't you ask? Will you do me a favour Ray, go up to some lad in a suit and say, is that Tommy Tiernan show coming back?"

Listen to his reaction here for around the 5-minute mark.

Have you ever heard a happier man?

"Hon Tommy Tiernan! Woo Hoo! They can't touch us now!

"That's me going straight to Topaz and having an americano and a hot chocolate."
