The trailer for Netflix's latest show will have you on the edge of your seat

Netflix appears to have a winner on its hands with the The OA, its latest original series set to stream on December 16.

The Brit Marling-starring thriller will delve into the “borders between life and death”, triggered by a missing blind girl returning to her home town seven years after she went missing – with her sight returned.

Where has she been? Why won’t she tell anyone? She jumped off a bridge?!

It certainly looks dark and full of suspense, which is to be expected from Marling and director Zal Batmangli if their previous films The Sound of My Voice and The East are anything to go by.

If you’re losing the will while waiting for Stranger Things season two, this looks like it could hold you over for a while.
