Justin Bieber's been told to clean up graffiti he's accused of spraying on an Australian hotel wall.

The singer reportedly painted fluorescent cartoon characters after last night's sell-out gig in Brisbane.

The mayor of nearby Gold Coast, where he was staying, says a 'normal person' would get '80 to 100 hours of community service' - and has sent a cleaning kit to the hotel.

However the Australian hotel claims it gave Justin Bieber permission to graffiti a wall - after he was criticised online.

One Direction are on track to have the fastest selling album of the year.

Midnight Memories sold 145,000 copies in three days.
