Tequila is Anne Hathaway's 'beverage of choice'

The 32-year-old actress has had many great nights while drinking her favourite spirit but admitted she can't remember any of them.

Asked if she has any memories of overindulging, Anne told PEOPLE magazine: "So many, but I can't tell you what they are because I don't remember any of them.

"Tequila is my beverage of choice and now I drink it far more responsibly than I did when I was in my twenties."

And tequila makes an appearance in Anne's new movie 'The Intern' where her character and Robert De Niro's do shots together.

Anne loves the beverage so much that she even brought a flask with her to the Academy Awards in 2014.

She previously revealed: "I've gone through it a couple of times, so I decided to do something a little different. I got a perfect purse-sized flask, which I put tequila in, and I had a great time! It was really nice, and it's a great ice-breaker.

"Of course I shared it. Joseph Gordon-Levitt was sitting next to me and Gabourey Sidibe, whom I never met before, but she's so awesome."
