'Teeth' not for the faint-hearted

Director: Michael Lichtenstein

Cast: John Hernsley, Jess Weixler, John Pale

Cert: 18

This one, believe me, isn’t a guy film … not with the subject matter on offer.

Teenage Dawn (Weixler) lives near a nuclear plant and the vibes, or whatever, have given her a dangerous set of fangs where they shouldn’t be … you know, down there.

Her boyfriend (Appleman) finds out exactly where when he tries to test her virginity.

It’s a curious horror story in that it plays on male psychological fears – here made real – in a grown-up way.

Not for the faint-hearted.

Star Rating: 3/5
