Sykes 'giddy' after Cockings engagement

TV presenter Melanie Sykes told fans she was “giddy” after announcing she is engaged to boyfriend Jack Cockings.

The 42-year-old star, who first found fame in an advert for Boddingtons beer, met Cockings, 26, online where he tweets as @bespokespartan after he asked her out on a date.

She told fans: “To my beautiful twitter friends just want to let you know that me &Jack @bespokespartan are engaged to be married and we are very giddy xxxx”

Sykes has two children from her marriage to Italian actor Daniel Caltagirone which ended in 2009.

The former model has also appeared on The Big Breakfast and Today With Des And Mel and had a stint on Radio 2 with Alan Carr.
