Strictly keeps beating ITV rivals in ratings battle

Strictly Come Dancing has continued to beat its TV rivals – averaging over 10 million viewers on Saturday night’s show.

A peak of 11.5 million and an average of 10.2 million (47.6% share) watched on BBC1, making it the most watched show on TV in the UK, according to the BBC.

Last weekend’s Blackpool Special enjoyed a peak of 11.9 million viewers.

On ITV, The X Factor – which saw intruders invade the stage following Honey G’s performance – was watched by 5.7 million (27% share) and peaked with 6.6 million.

I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! attracted 7.4 million (39% share) and peaked with 8.1 million.
