Stars shine on the pink carpet at the Bridget Jones's Baby movie premiere

Hollywood actress Renee Zellweger did not disappoint in the fashion stakes as she stepped out to promote Helen Fielding’s new movie, Bridget Jones’s Baby.

The star looked dazzling in a dark blue dress at the premiere held at London’s Leicester Square.

Talking on the red carpet, Colin Firth, who plays Mr Darcy, said he would be open to returning.

He told a group of reporters: ”Listen, if I’m invited (back), yes. ”

Emma Thompson was stunning in a red suit.

Singer Ellie Goulding has done the theme song for the movie called Still Falling For You.

The film’s director, Sharon Maguire, has chosen the perfect outfit to complement the pink carpet.

Former Miss Great Britain and Love Island contestant, Zara Holland,  stands out in this electric blue, lace number.

Bridget favourite Sally Phillips may be wearing a foot brace but she’s still in good spirits.

EastEnders’ star Samantha Womack and Natalie Appleton could be sisters.

Bridget Jones’s Baby is out in the UK and Ireland on September 16.
