'Smart' Zooey Deschanel's baby daughter looks just like her, says co-star Jacob

Zooey Deschanel's newborn daughter is "extremely cute."

The 'New Girl' actress gave birth to her first child with husband Jacob Pechenik last month and her co-star Lamorne Morris says the little girl looks a lot like the 35-year-old brunette beauty.

The 32-year-old actor said: "She's an extremely cute baby. She looks like Zooey. Two good-looking parents will make a good-looking kid. Unless there's that one where you're like, 'Oh, you're going to make a terrible child.' But that was not gonna happen with these two."

Lamorne also thinks Zooey, who has yet to reveal her little girl's name, will be a great mother because she has always looked out for everyone on the set of their TV series.

He told PEOPLE.com: "She's a great mom to us on set. She puts the hammer down on the craziness we do from time to time."

The star even asks the actress for financial advice all the time.

He said: "She gives me advice on every aspect of my life. Family, finances… She's very smart. Very healthy. She'll teach her daughter how to eat right, that's for sure."
