Shakira's baba joins her in studio

Shakira takes her son to work.

The 'She Wolf' hitmaker is in London with 10-month-old Milan - her child with her partner Gerard Piqué - and the tiny tot accompanied her to the recording studio where she is working on creating new tracks.

Taking to Twitter, she wrote: "In London yesterday on our way to the recording studio! Shak (sic)"

Shakira also attached an image of the adorable tot who was grinning in a cute padded blue jacket.

Shakira divides her time between Barcelona, Spain, where her beau Gerard plays for FC Barcelona, and the US.

Rapper Pitbull recently let slip that Rihanna and Shakira have collaborated on a new single.

He wanted to team up with the 'Diamond' hitmaker to feature on his latest track 'Timber' but couldn't as she was busy with the 'Hips Don't Lie' singer.

He previously said: "The person we were looking at first to work on that record was actually Rihanna! And Rihanna had something she had to do with Shakira and wasn't able to work on our record."
