Una Healy has named her baby Aoife Belle Foden.

The Saturdays singer and rugby player fiancé Ben Foden revealed to Hello! magazine the moniker of the 7lb 13oz tot.

Aoife is a popular name in Una’s native Ireland, while Belle is an adaptation of Ben’s mother’s maiden name Bell and means ‘Beautiful’ in French.

The baby was welcomed into the world today, with Ben writing on twitter he was delighted to be a father.

He wrote: “I am officially a Dad!!!!!! Una an baby are both amazing and healthy!!!! So proud of them both! #babybenuna(sic)”

Meanwhile Una’s bandmates – Rochelle Wiseman, Vanessa White, Mollie King and Frankie Sandford – have all given their congratulations to the newborn.

Rochelle said: “I'm proud of all 3 of you! Can't wait to be aunty x

"A beautiful girl has entered the world today and, I'm her aunty #blessed I'm so proud of @unahealy @ben_foden BIG love! Xx(sic)"

Mollie wrote: “Congratulations to my beautiful @unahealy and @ben_foden! I couldn't be more proud! What gorgeous parents u will make! I want to seeee her!(sic)”
