Sarah Michelle Gellar returns to TV

Sarah Michelle Gellar is going back to the small screen.

The 'Buffy' star is set to star in and executive produce a series called 'The Wonderful Maladys', about three dysfunctional adult siblings living in New York and struggling to deal with the loss of their parents.

The show’s creator Charles Randolph revealed he wrote the part with Sarah Michelle in mind.

“Her character has a zealous immaturity – like a drug addict with a to-do list,” he told Variety.com

And Sarah Michelle, whose husband is fellow actor Freddie Prinze Jr, added: “This is a terrific next chapter for me.”
