Ryan Reynolds surprised a fan with the help of the tooth fairy

Ryan Reynolds has taken a well deserved break from saving the world in his new movie Deadpool, to fill in for the ever-busy Tooth Fairy.

The Hollywood star recently took over the famous fairy duties by leaving something other than a few euro under a fan's pillow after she had her wisdom teeth removed.

In a video posted by the fan’s mother, Mariah Boyle emerged from her op so groggy and confused that she believed that she missed Deadpool.

The video was later posted on Ryan‘s Facebook page - then this happened.

How did he get the tickets under her pillow? How did he know about her mother’s breakfast casserole?

We'll never know - that's the power of the Tooth Fairy.

Mariah was on a flight to New York the next day and even got to meet the star afterwards.

Well played Ryan, well played.
