Reid: 'My wife is not going' into jungle with ex

Alex Reid doesn't want his wife Katie Price to reunite with Peter Andre for 'I'm A Celebrity. Get Me Out Of Here!'.

The muscular sportsman - who wed the former glamour model earlier this year after flying to Las Vegas for a secret ceremony - admits he "wouldn't like" it if Katie appeared alongside her ex-husband on a special 'ultimate' version of the show she met Peter on.

He said: "It goes without saying that obviously I wouldn't like the idea of her and Pete being there together."

It had been reported that the former couple are being lined up to re-enter the jungle for a special series based around previous contestants.

However, Alex doesn't think Katie would appear on the show for a third time.

He explained in his Star magazine column: "I saw the story about Kate and Pete going back into the jungle, but as far as I know, my wife is not going."

However, the cage-fighter - who won 'Celebrity Big Brother' earlier this year - hasn't ruled out competing himself.

He said: "I wouldn't be that keen to go in myself - I'm not sure I could deal with the hunger for a start - but never say never."

Meanwhile, Peter, 37, has also confirmed he wouldn't want to repeat his time in the jungle, even though he had "the best experiences of his life" on the show.

He told new! magazine: "I loved my time in the jungle but I left on a high, and I could never recreate that magic again. It was one of the best experiences of my life but I'd never go back."
