Reeves for rom-com role

Keanu Reeves is set to star in a new romantic comedy.

The ‘Speed’ actor will also produce ‘Henry’s Crime’, a film which follows a Buffalo toll booth attendant who is wrongly accused of robbing a bank, sparking him to have a crisis.

The movie will be directed by ’44 Inch Chest’ filmmaker Malcolm Venville, while ‘Anvil! The Story of Anvil’ director Sacha Gervasi has written the screenplay.

Filming on the movie – the first for Keanu’s production company, Company Films – is scheduled to begin in November.

No further casting details have been announced.

Keanu most recently appeared in ‘The Private Lives Of Pippa Lee’ and ‘The Day The Earth Stood Still’, but this is his first lead in a romantic comedy.
