Amy Willerton was chosen for 'I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!' because she is more raunchy, says Miss England.

Model Kirsty Heslewood has claimed she was almost chosen for the reality show but the Miss Universe Great Britain winner beat her to it because of her willingness to "show off" her body.

Speaking to The Sun newspaper, she said: "My interview went well. I think they wanted me until they met Amy and thought she would be better for the sex appeal.

"I would have showered in a bikini but I would have showered to keep clean - not to show off my body."

Amy, 21, has already had a number of steamy shows in the jungle, and Kirsty has lashed out claiming her rival has no problem "treating on people" to get to where she wants to be.

She added: "My bikini shots are more innocent than Amy's. She is more determined, doesn't mind treading on people."

While in the jungle, Amy - who came joint sixth in the overall Miss Universe contest earlier this year - has alluded to the differences between the pair.

She said: "They say Miss World is the girl next door. Miss Universe is the girl you wish lived next door."
