Price and Andre reunion mooted by TV bosses

Katie Price and Peter Andre could be reunited for an 'I'm A Celebrity. Get Me Out Of Here!' special.

The former couple met on the ITV1 show in 2004 and although they are now divorced, bosses are keen to get them both to return to where their doomed romance began in an 'Ultimate' version of the show.

A source told the Daily Star newspaper: "Producers want something really special for the 10th anniversary in 2012. One idea is to take some of the favourite contestants back to battle it out. It is a guaranteed ratings winner."

Bosses have been inspired by the success of 'Ultimate Big Brother', which saw former housemates go back into the house and was eventually won by series two champion Brian Dowling.

It also got a huge ratings boost thanks to the reignited romance between ex-couple Chantelle Houghton and Preston.

Other stars being lined up to take part included Kerry Katona and Dean Gaffney.

The next series of 'I'm A Celebrity' - which is hosted by Ant and Dec - starts in November, with former 'Blue Peter' host John Leslie set to take part.
