PPI radio award winners announced

Dublin's 98 has picked up the best music-driven station of the year prize at the annual PPI radio awards.

The ceremony, which was held in Kilkenny last night, also recognised veteran broadcaster Marian Finucane with an Outstanding Achievement Award.

RTÉ Radio One was awarded the overall Station of the Year prize, while in sport, Radio Kerry's Terrace Talk beat Newstalk and Radio One for the Sports Programme of the year.

The Music Broadcaster of the Year award went to Tony Fenton.
