Pitt 'fascinated with Big Fat Gypsy Weddings'

Brad Pitt is obsessed with 'Big Fat Gypsy Weddings'.

Paddy Doherty, a former bare-knuckle fighter who rose to fame on the show, admits he was shocked when he discovered the Hollywood hunk – who recently became engaged to Angelina Jolie – knew all about him.

He said: "It's crazy isn't it? I met Jamie Oliver and he's a good mate of Brad Pitt's. He told me, 'Brad is fascinated with you, he's always asking me about you.'

"Jamie said he had recorded 'Big Fat Gypsy Weddings' and 'Celebrity Big Brother' for Brad and sent them to him in America.

"I couldn't believe it – Brad Pitt wanting to know about me. I'm going to send him a copy of my book. He might want to play me in a film."

However, Paddy's life has not always been so starry – the 53-year-old admits he is ashamed of how "evil" he used to be.

He told The Sun: "If I was fighting a good looking fella, I would think, 'Good, I'm going to ruin your face.'

"I was evil. That's what Dohertys are bred for – fighting. I was famous throughout the Traveller world for it. But looking back now I'm ashamed of it. If I could turn the clock back I wish I'd never done it."
