Picture of This Morning's Phillip and Holly has viewers wondering: where have Phillip's legs gone?

Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby sparked a frenzy on This Morning after a tweet seemed to suggest they were announcing the new presenters of the Great British Bake Off.

However, the duo soon clarified that they were simply speculating about who could take over from Mel Giedroyc and Sue Perkins, who announced yesterday they would not be returning to host the show when it moves to Channel 4.

Phillip did air his views on the move from the BBC to Channel 4, saying: “I think they’ve killed it and I actually love Bake Off. It’s just not going to be the same.”

At first, viewers were angry there was no announcement made about the new GBBO hosts:

However, within minutes another question was perplexing viewers even more,  after this photo was posted on Twitter:

People couldn’t help asking:  WHERE ARE PHILLIP’S LEGS?

Phillip couldn’t help himself and replied cheekily:

Now, we still do want to know who the new GBBO hosts are please Phillip and Holly.
