Pattinson jokes: I'm living in a trash can

Robert Pattinson has joked that he is homeless and living "in a trash can" after moving out of the home he shared with Kristen Stewart.

The British actor's romance with his Twilight co-star is on the rocks after she admitted cheating on him with married director Rupert Sanders, and soon after the scandal emerged, moving trucks were spotted outside the home they had shared in LA.

R-Patz once again remained tight-lipped about the affair when he appeared on US TV show 'Jimmy Kimmel Live!' - but did confess he had no permanent home.

When talk show host Jimmy asked: "Last time you were here, I think you were homeless, right?" the actor nodded and replied: "Still am."

Asked if he was living in hotels, the actor joked: "No, I rented this archway and I just live behind it… in this big trash can."

R-Patz has made several TV appearances to promote his new film 'Cosmopolis' in recent days, but has consistently skirted questions about Stewart.

The actress has kept a low profile since pictures of her with 'Snow White And The Huntsman' director Sanders emerged.
