Partner of Whitney Houston's late daughter pays tribute on 5th anniversary of singer's death

The partner of Whitney Houston’s late daughter has paid tribute to the singer on the fifth anniversary of her death.

Nick Gordon posted a photo on social media of himself with Whitney and her daughter Bobbi Kristina Brown, who he was dating when she died in 2015.

Whitney reportedly helped raise Nick during his childhood before he began dating Bobbi Kristina.

He wrote on Twitter: “Can’t believe it’s been 5 years. I miss you. I know you and Kriss are enjoying each other up there.”

In November, a judge in Atlanta ordered Nick to pay $36 million in a wrongful death case concerning Bobbi Kristina.

She was found face down and unresponsive in a bathtub in her suburban Atlanta, Georgia home in January 2015.

She was in a coma for six months before dying in hospice care aged 22.

Nick has not been criminally charged over Bobbi Kristina’s death.

Whitney was found dead in a Los Angeles hotel room in February 2012 after accidentally drowning in a bathtub.
